Written by Christine Hjorth, a teacher certified in Elementary, Early Childhood and Gifted Education, with a combined 22 years of research, writing, tutoring and in-classroom First Grade experience. She left the classroom to fill the gap that she saw in necessary reading materials.

ALIGNMENT CHARTS

The ALIGNED decodables are aligned 19 of the top ELA/Phonics Programs on the market. This was done by breaking down every letter, letter pattern and high-frequency word in each of the 123 books in print, then matching that up to the introduction of sounds and HFW words in each separate curriculum. When introduced in the recommended order, the ALIGNED books are between 95-100% decodable!

Quotes can be given for specific needs per grade level. For example, the list for UFLI can be broken up for a school’s classroom count, i.e. 2 Kindergarten classroom, 3 First Grade classrooms, 4 Second Grade classrooms.
